Advice for the day!

We advise to remove the hanging ribbons in the side of the dress pre wear. Whilst these are essential to hang your dress before your big day, these do tend to ‘creep up’ on the day and may be visible, so please consider carefully removing pre wear. 

Allow plenty of time to dress on the day: we advise to step (barefoot) in to your dress (to avoid any damage/snags). We have included a pair of cotton gloves which can be worn to avoid any marks on your dress. (Where applicable) ensure to fasten the hook and eye at the top of the zip. This helps to support the zip, without doing so, this may cause the zip to buckle. 

You may wish to use a hand held steamer to remove any final creases. When using a steamer, please ensure the steamer is completely clean, with no traces of limescale etc. (This especially essential if you are using a loaned or older steamer). Use bottled water (not tap water) to ensure no residue marks are left on your dress, and test an ‘inconspicuous’ area first. 

In case of emergency marks/stains on the day, we have included a stain remover wipe to remove last minute marks. These are also available to purchase through Amazon. 

Due to the delicate nature of bridal wear, we have included a small sewing kit, incase of any on the day emergencies. If you have chosen to have a bustle/button and loop fastening added to your train, should this fail on the day, the safety pin can be used in replacement.
